This site focuses on Poland and its recent participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Through this blog, I will explore how Poland presents itself on the Eurovision stage, including the song, artist, performance style, and how it connects to the country's culture, history, and national identity.
I chose to focus on Poland because it's a valuable case study for understanding nationalism, democracy, and cultural expression in modern Europe. While I am still learning about both Eurovision and this country, this project gives me the opportunity to better understand how popular music and international competitions can reflect national identity in Europe.
Over the course of this blog, I will share research, observations, and reflections on how Poland uses Eurovision as a plat form to represent itself to the rest of Europe.
